Customer Support Technician Brackley, Northants

We are a leading company specialising in the installation and maintenance of EPOS Management systems to the hospitality market sector.  You will be working alongside an established team of support specialists.  As well as supporting EPOS hardware and our own engineers, the software you will be supporting is bespoke so training will be given.  However, an excellent standard of IT knowledge is required. 

The role requires you to provide technical support to a wide range of customers, so patience, excellent communication and good people skills are essential.

Preference will be given to candidates who have a strong knowledge of Microsoft products including MS SQL Server and Access Databases.

You will also have the following experience:

  • Strong customer service focus and good communicator
  • Excellent team commitment and loyalty
  • Excellent team working skills
  • Initiative to work unsupervised
  • Excellent timekeeping /attendance

The ideal candidate is expected to live within a short commuting distance of Brackley.

As expected in the hospitality industry, you will be required to work a shift pattern. This will encompass one late shift per week from 12:30pm to 9:00pm and one weekend per month after full training. Please do not apply if this is not possible for you.

This is an excellent opportunity for a college leaver to enter the IT market or to expand your existing IT career.

The position is offered on a permanent basis with an initial 12-month trial period.
