Vital Ingredient, one of London’s most innovative fast fresh food brands specialising in healthy tossed salads, soups, stews and juices, has installed an IBS EPOS solution featuring POSLink touchscreen technology, the J2 630 terminals and Commidea integrated chip’n'pin terminals.
Launched in 2001 to offer an alternative to the sandwich bar, Vital Ingredient currently has five stores in Soho, Mayfair, Oxford Circus and the City of London.
The fresh salad and soup specialist selected IBS because of the capability of the EPOS and stock control system and its head office functionality.
“We are going to be relying on the head office solution in the near future when the business reaches a certain number of stores. Also transaction time is vital to us during our busy periods, so the integration with Ocious for PC is not just a convenience but a necessity,” said Vital Ingredient owner, Alex Heynes.
“We’ve designed and installed a solution for Vital Ingredient that caters for its current requirements and is future proofed as the brand expands and looks to use modules like our loyalty package to build footfall and reward customers,”√Ǭ† said Gareth Powell, IBS’s managing director.
The stores have a pre-pay and ordering service to speed up purchasing at busy periods and an online ordering service for corporate customers. The brand offers a huge range of the finest and freshest ingredients and dressings and claims its customers never have to have the same lunch twice.
