The September opening of the £1.8 billion Westfield Stratford City retail project unveiled the gateway to the London 2012 Olympic Park, Europe’s largest urban shopping centre – and highlighted IBS’s impact within the hospitality sector in the capital.
Westfield has over 250 shops plus numerous places to eat, including five key hospitality businesses supplied by IBS with EPOS solutions for the high profile launch,. They were Gourmet Burger Kitchen, EAT, The Real Greek, The Cow and Franco Manca.
“Westfield’s launch highlights the variety and quality of our client portfolio, from quick service and fast food to table service and the traditional pub style operation. It also shows how flexible our POSLink touchscreen technology is as it can easily accommodate so many different styles of operation,” said IBS project manager, Justin Atkinson.
“From a professional perspective, it was a challenge to co-ordinate and plan key installations within a very short timescale but one we were delighted to meet.”
