Pub17 to explore changing pub food landscape

Pub17, the only trade show dedicated to the UK pub industry, will explore the changing landscape of pub food when it returns to London Olympia on 7 and 8 February.

Attendees will be shown how to incorporate the current trend for street food into pub menus and create an “innovative and exciting menu that plays on the growing consumer demand for premium and personalised menu options”.

There will also be a seminar session featuring gastro-pub chefs dedicated to the evolution of pub food. Exhibitors such as charcuterie company Serious Pig, gourmet pie business Square Pie, and Emily’s Fruit Crisps will also be on hand to talk about premium bar snacks and drinks pairing.

Pub17 marketing manager Sam Chance said: “We see this as a growing area of concern for the pub industry and feel it’s something that needs to be tackled head-on. With a broad range of exhibitors at the show and an exciting speaker line-up, Pub17 is set to highlight how diverse and exciting today’s pub landscape is.”
